Permanent Senior Scientist (multiple direct reports)
What you'll do
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) compliant with ISO140642, Puro, Isometricv1.1 and emerging ICVCM Core criteria
- Design statistically robust soil, water and dust sampling campaigns across diverse agroecological zones
- Oversee analytical laboratories (ICPOES, ICPMS, ion chromatography, XRD, PSD) QA/QC, calibration, and vendor relationships
- Supervise geochemical characterization of rock feedstocks and soil samples (mineralogy, heavy metal risk, asbestiform screening)
- Aide in the development of novel quantitative and theoretical frameworks for tracking the modern carbon cycle
