About the role
The Senior Expeditor uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the expediting discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the expediting discipline. The Senior Expeditor solves complex problems and uses discipline-specific knowledge to improve its products or services.
What you'll do
- Supervise team to identify supplier performance gaps and potential delivery delays
- Execute expediting strategy to track the movement of project materials and deliverables
- Execute effective expediting frequency based on the Expediting Level assigned to the Purchase Order
- Liaise with Logistics and Package Management teams to facilitate the timely status of project goods and materials
- Support supplier performance review process on behalf of Expediting
