About the role
The Senior Materials Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Material Management discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Material Management discipline.
What you'll do
- Communicate effectively across the other functional teams
- Understand and comply with Unifi processes
- Lead others in material management activities, including receiving, locating, picking, issuing, packing, and forecasting
- Review and support the Material Management Plan, revise as needed
- Support and mentor others in the materials reporting, tracking, reconciliation process, and Surplus management
