What you'll do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for ETL pipelines, backend database changes, data warehouse objects
- Perform end-to-end ETL testing by validating source-to-target data across different stages of the data pipeline to ensure data completeness, accuracy, consistency
- Develop and execute complex SQL and Snowflake queries to perform data validation, reconciliation, data profiling, and root-cause analysis of data discrepancies
- Validate database changes, including schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, and other database objects
- Validate data warehouse dimensional models, including fact tables, dimension tables, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), against business and technical requirements
