About the role
Role Purpose Responsible for the development and maintenance of Mercedes-Benz Aftersales Parts Information for complete vehicles, including spare-parts catalogues, illustrations, and related technical documentation. The role involves analyzing engineering and product data and transforming it into accurate, customer-oriented parts information with Illustrations for aftersales applications.
What you'll do
- Develop, maintain, and release aftersales spare-parts catalogues, parts information, and technical illustrations for complete vehicles
- Analyze and interpret engineering CAD, product structure, BOM, and PLM/PDM data to derive accurate parts documentation
- Understand vehicle systems, assemblies, sub-assemblies, and individual components, including their assembly and disassembly relationships
- Create and maintain parts illustrations and picture documentation using tools such as Adobe Illustrator and relevant engineering/product lifecycle applications
- Ensure accurate mapping of parts, pictures, applicability, and product information throughout the vehicle lifecycle
