About the role

This role sits within the EMEA Solvency II Development team and is primarily responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the tools and processes used to calculate and analyses Solvency II results. The role will also support quarterly Solvency II production to help ensure robust, timely and well-controlled delivery of results.

What you'll do

• Solvency II Development - primary focus-
• Maintain and enhance Solvency II calculation and reporting tools, with a focus on BEL/RA and SCR production, analysis and controls
• Implement tool and process changes arising from regulatory updates, methodology developments and business requirements
• Translate agreed business and actuarial requirements into practical tool specifications, calculation logic, test scenarios and implementation plans
• Perform impact assessments and support end-to-end testing, including test execution, result reconciliation, defect investigation and evidence retention
