Software/Platform Engineer II

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SRE to help keep our Azure platform reliable, secure, and fully automated. You will work with engineers across teams. You will write code, not just run systems, and you will help set the standard for how we build and operate.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and run Azure infrastructure for our data platform, following the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and landing zone principles
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. This includes reusable modules, remote state, and safe, tested changes
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) for infrastructure and platform releases
• Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets with product and engineering teams
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana or similar) so issues are found early
