About the role
As a Financial Reporting & Planning Solution Expert, you will design and implement modern data and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Google BigQuery will serve as the core data platform supporting financial reporting, controlling, planning and forecasting solutions. You will play a key role in the transition from SAP BW-based reporting to a scalable cloud architecture.
What you'll do
- Design and implement reporting and planning data solutions using Google BigQuery and SQL
- Define scalable data models, KPI structures, financial hierarchies and semantic layers for enterprise reporting
- Translate financial reporting, controlling, planning and forecasting requirements into technical solution designs and implementation approaches
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, maintainability, data quality and cost-efficiency requirements
- Lead solution workshops and architecture discussions with Finance, Controlling, IT and other business stakeholders
