About the role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Shift Technician to support 24x7 Facilities Operations and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical electrical infrastructure and utility systems. The role involves operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and first-line response activities for high-voltage electrical distribution systems supporting manufacturing and facility operations.
What you'll do
- Operate and monitor 220 kV GIS, 33 kV, and 6.6 kV electrical distribution systems
- Perform routine electrical switching, isolation, energization, and shutdown activities as per approved procedures
- Monitor power system parameters, load distribution, and electrical equipment health
- Support uninterrupted power supply to manufacturing and facility operations
- Respond to alarms, trips, and electrical system abnormalities during shift operations
