About the role
Responsible for achievement of business objectives by ensuring timely submission of cost sheets to project management, RFQ for key raw materials, consumables, reagents, stationeries etc. Supplier Relationship management. Periodic follow ups with all the stakeholders, service for both internal and external customers to meet the organization standards as well to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities.
What you'll do
- Responsible for achievement of business objectives by ensuring timely submission of cost sheets to project management, RFQ for key raw materials, consumables, reagents
- Develop strategic sourcing initiatives to specific category management ( ie Chemistry, Solvents, General consumables, etc )
- Developing strategic sourcing initiatives, including spend analysis, category management, Supply-demand market intelligence, negotiations, Benchmarking
- Build overall expertise around the category by developing supply-demand market intelligence, technology trends, competitive advantage and price benchmarking etc
- Identifying supply risks and quantifying risk exposure, and executing risk mitigation actions
