We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate De-Addiction Counsellor / Psychologist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals overcome addiction and regain control of their lives.
What you'll do
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional well-being of patients dealing with addiction issues
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to address the specific needs and challenges of patients in recovery
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including setting goals, interventions
- Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support and counseling to patients in distress
- Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery, coping strategies, and relapse prevention techniques
