About the role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help shape and deliver technology solutions that support Morningstar’s Indexes applications and platforms. In this role, you will work closely with product leaders, scrum masters, business analysts, QA engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear product requirements and scalable technology outcomes.
What you'll do
- Partner with business stakeholders, product leaders, and engineering teams to understand goals, user needs, operational challenges, and technology constraints
- Define, prioritize, and maintain a well-structured product backlog for Indexes technology initiatives
- Translate business objectives and user needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, discovery discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, and delivery checkpoints to ensure alignment across teams
- Work closely with engineering and QA teams to deliver solutions that meet expectations for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, quality, timelines
