About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Hat/Linux Administrator to join our dynamic Platform team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, container technologies, and scripting. This role involves maintaining, upgrading, and securing our Linux environments, as well as managing Docker containers and writing scripts to automate tasks.
What you'll do
- Perform day-to-day Linux administration tasks, ensuring system stability, performance, and security
- Manage OS patching processes, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting
- Conduct upgrade and rollback validations to ensure system integrity
- Implement quarterly security patch upgrades to maintain compliance and protect against vulnerabilities
- Write Dockerfiles from scratch to create custom Docker images tailored to specific application requirements
