IT Manager - Asset Management

About the role

As the IT Manager- Asset Management reporting to the Head of IT - Service Delivery and Operations, you will lead the governance and operational assurance of IT asset management across the organisation. You will oversee the Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) capabilities, ensuring software licensing and end-user device administration are controlled, effective and aligned to business priorities.

What you'll do

• Define, maintain , and enforce enterprise-wide HAM and SAM policies, standards, and lifecycle controls (request, procure , receive, deploy, support, retire, dispose)
• Establish, maintain and actively enforce clear RACI and accountability across IT, Procurement, Security, Finance, Facilities, Regional IT, business units and Partners
• Chair or contribute to governance forums, resolving ownership gaps and driving ongoing adherence rather than treating accountability as a one-time exercise
• Embed standardised processes for hardware and software onboarding/offboarding, ensuring security, data protection
• Own remediation of ITAM-related audit findings and maintain continuous audit readiness across regions and suppliers
