About the role
As a member of our Electrical & Plant (E&P) team, you will play a crucial role in the development of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) design and consultancy projects within the UK rail sector. Collaborating with our experienced designers, you will be responsible for designing Low Voltage (LV) electrical engineering and mechanical systems during both the outline and detailed design stages of our rail project portfolio.
What you'll do
- Have the opportunity to expand your knowledge, engage in challenging projects, and support on rail projects across the UK
- Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and use the principles of Safe by Design
- Design of fire alarm systems and lighting protection systems
- Collaborating with architects civil/structural engineers, telecoms engineers and mechanical engineers to provide a compliant design
