About the role
We are seeking a highly capable Senior Maritime Design Technician to lead the production, coordination and quality of technical drawings for maritime infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering clear, accurate and buildable drawing packages that support the planning, design and construction of maritime infrastructure projects across Scotland and the UK.
What you'll do
- Lead the production of technical drawings for maritime and civil engineering projects
- Develop and maintain complete drawing packages from concept development through to detailed design and construction support
- Produce clear, accurate and professionally presented civil and structural engineering drawings suitable for construction, procurement and asset management activities
- Work closely with engineers to develop practical and buildable design solutions and translate engineering concepts into high-quality drawing deliverables
- Ensure drawings contain the appropriate plans, elevations, sections, details, dimensions, notes and annotations required to communicate design intent effectively
