About the role
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Database Engineering & Operations, is responsible for the engineering, administration, automation, reliability, and operational support of enterprise database platforms, with primary accountability for Oracle Database environments and secondary support responsibility for at least one of MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL platforms.
What you'll do
- Oracle Database Engineering & Operations (Primary)
- Administer, maintain, and support Oracle Database platforms across Development, Test, UAT, Disaster Recovery, and Production environments
- Execute Oracle database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, backup, and recovery activities
- Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and high availability technologies
- Manage Oracle database performance, capacity planning, resiliency, and operational health
