About the role
This role is designed for a visionary technical leader who can set long-term technical direction and act as a strategic force multiplier for engineering. As a Principal Engineer, you will define technical strategy, solve complex distributed systems challenges, and guide senior engineering talent across the organization.
What you'll do
- Define and own long-term technical vision, architecture, and roadmaps for key platform domains
- Lead architectural design of complex, cross-functional platform solutions that are secure, scalable, and cost-effective
- Solve large-scale, ambiguous platform challenges through deep technical exploration and innovation
- Establish engineering best practices, author design documents and RFCs, and drive engineering excellence
- Mentor senior engineers (SDE3s), acting as a force multiplier for technical capability across teams
