About the role
We are looking for an experienced Windows Platform & Packaging Engineer to support the migration and deployment of enterprise applications from Linux-based environments to Windows platforms. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Windows installation packages, deployment processes, automation scripts, and upgrade mechanisms using InstallShield and PowerShell .
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain Windows installer packages using InstallShield (MSI, EXE, Suite/Advanced UI Projects)
- Create deployment packages for Java, .NET, and hybrid applications , including native DLLs and third-party dependencies
- Convert and adapt Linux-based installation, deployment, and upgrade processes for Windows environments
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for installation, configuration, deployment, upgrade, and maintenance automation
- Configure and manage Windows Services , environment variables, registry settings, and system configurations required by applications
