About the role
As a Senior QA Engineer in the CAN QA team, you will own validation of how our devices read, interpret and report vehicle data, from the CAN bus through the device to the cloud. You will develop test strategies for J1939 and OBD-II integrations, automate protocol and signal-level testing, investigate complex field issues, and provide evidence-based release-readiness recommendations.
What you'll do
- Requirement-to-test coverage for vehicle signals, diagnostics, power modes and end-to-end telematics workflows
- Root-cause investigation of signal mismatches, intermittent CAN failures and vehicle-specific field issues
- Reusable CAN simulation, trace replay, fault-injection and automated regression capabilities
- Technical guidance through test-design reviews, automation reviews and structured defect triage
