Software engineering internship at Nextpower in Hyderabad. Needs a PhD.
About the role
The Intern-Systems Engineering will be based in Hyderabad and will be getting opportunity to work on complex R&D Programs related to various Tracker solutions within Nextpower. The candidate is expected to possess sound Mechanical / Applied Physics engineering knowledge to perform various load calculations, FEA, develop simulation models and to assist in systems level testing at Center for Solar Excellence, Hyderabad.
What you'll do
- Assist in system level design for various Tracker solutions and analyze behaviors related to Mechanical/Structural domain
- Perform product failure mode analysis from testing and reverse engineering
- Assist in various System level testing ( @ Field)
- Work on developing and establishing standard Matlab/ Python based tools related to Design Optimization
- Perform and manage engineering work using CAD/CAE software to solve problems in mechanical/structural design, finite element analysis, design optimization
