About the role
The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing placement activities for trainees enrolled under the Skill Development Project. The role focuses on achieving placement targets through strong industry engagement, employer partnerships, apprenticeship opportunities, and effective candidate support.
What you'll do
- Identify, approach, and onboard employers across various sectors for recruitment and workforce requirements
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with HR professionals, recruiters, and hiring managers
- Conduct regular employer visits to understand current and future manpower needs
- Organize placement drives, campus recruitment programs, job fairs, and employer interaction sessions
- Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate the selection process between employers and trainees
