About the role
The Sr. Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for tooling and test equipment, electronic equipment, and other hardware systems. They are responsible for providing design input to ensure manufacturing success of new products and existing products.
What you'll do
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques
- Devises new approaches to problems encountered
- Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability
- May also review vendor capability to support development
