Lead, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Northern Trust. Design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, unit, regression, and end-to-end testing.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, unit, regression, and end-to-end testing
- Lead large-scale automated test execution across multiple applications and environments, including scheduled, release, deployment, and code-promotion validation
- Improve test automation resiliency by identifying and eliminating flaky tests, intermittent failures, synchronization issues, dependency failures, test-data issues
- Troubleshoot and fix, refactor, and optimize existing automation scripts , improving reliability, maintainability, execution speed, error handling, recovery
- Analyze execution failures to distinguish application defects from automation, environment, data, access, configuration, and infrastructure issues
