Senior Consultant, Procurement Systems and Capabilities

About the role

This role supports Procurement Transformation by designing, configuring, and enhancing Northern Trust’s Coupa Spend Management platform to meet the evolving needs of a complex, global organization. The position focuses on solution development, configuration, and continuous improvement , rather than routine operational support.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and enhance Coupa functionality to support procure‑to‑pay, contracting, supplier, invoicing, and related business processes
• Translate business, operational, and control requirements into scalable Coupa configurations aligned with enterprise standards
• Lead configuration and build activities for new functionality, enhancements, and strategic initiatives
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to assess needs, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend system‑based solutions
• Serve as a functional subject‑matter expert on Coupa capabilities, including AI‑enabled features, and support responsible adoption where they add business value
