About the role
Working within Engineering Management, you will collaborate across engineering disciplines and with design contractors, HSE, permitting, utilities and operations to translate sustainability ambitions into practical engineering decisions. You will drive sustainability and ESG integration across the project, making sustainability a design criterion rather than an end-of-project compliance exercise.
What you'll do
- Help embed energy, carbon, water, waste and ESG targets into the design basis of a greenfield plant and ensure they are tracked through to handover
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines and with design contractors, HSE, permitting
- Drive sustainability and ESG integration across the project, making sustainability a design criterion rather than an end-of-project compliance exercise
- Help integrate sustainability targets into the design basis and User Requirement Specifications (URS), monitor performance
- Drive energy and carbon management , identifying opportunities to minimize operational energy use, emissions and embodied carbon
