About the role
We are looking for an execution-oriented Procurement professional to drive domestic supplier development and RFQ closure across industrial raw materials. The role involves identifying and developing new suppliers, evaluating manufacturing capabilities, negotiating commercials, coordinating quality checks and trials, and driving suppliers from identification to successful procurement.
What you'll do
- Identify and hunt new domestic manufacturers and suppliers across India
- Develop suppliers for Ferro Alloys, Noble Ferro Alloys, Bulk Ferro Alloys, Virgin Metals
- Evaluate suppliers based on product range, manufacturing capability, capacity, quality and commercial competitiveness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic manufacturers
- Conduct vendor meetings, plant visits and physical inspections
