About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to provide hands-on operational support across virtual machines, OpenShift/Kubernetes, storage, networking, operating systems, infrastructure automation, and related platform services.
What you'll do
- Monitor infrastructure services, provisioning workflows, alerts, dashboards, incident queues, capacity, and customer-impacting conditions
- Develop and test troubleshooting hypotheses, determine the next investigative step, and move issues forward without waiting for detailed instructions
- Own incidents through triage, impact assessment, technical investigation, cross-team coordination, service recovery, customer validation, and documentation
- Communicate service impact, investigation status, recovery progress, risks, and required actions clearly and promptly
- Review infrastructure changes for potential operational or customer impact and communicate relevant risks to support and engineering teams
