About the role
The role requires strong expertise in API testing, automation framework architecture, microservices validation, integration testing, service virtualization, performance, security, and AI-enabled Quality Engineering . This is a senior customer-facing technical role responsible for assessing API landscapes, defining testing solutions, building reusable automation approaches, and guiding QA teams through implementation.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end API testing architecture and solutioning strategy across enterprise applications
- Understand business and technical architecture and translate it into a comprehensive API Quality Engineering strategy
- Define API testing approaches covering functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, negative, security, performance, and resiliency testing
- Design scalable and reusable API automation frameworks for REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and microservices
- Define automation solutions using tools/frameworks such as REST Assured, Karate, Postman/Newman, Python/PyTest, Java, ReadyAPI/SoapUI , or equivalent
