About the role
We are seeking an experienced Functional Test Engineer to validate business-critical applications and ensure software solutions meet defined business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing, functional testing, business process validation, defect management, and regression testing .
What you'll do
- Execute manual test scripts, business processes, and end-to-end user workflows in production-like environments
- Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop appropriate test scenarios and test cases
- Perform functional testing to validate application behavior against defined business requirements
- Identify and document bugs, unexpected system behavior, and usability issues
- Record defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, screenshots, logs, and other supporting evidence
