About the role
The Assistant Manager, Warehouse is responsible for the end-to-end management of warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures accurate inventory control, safe and compliant material handling, effective Kanban execution, team performance, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the end-to-end management of warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment
- Develop efficient warehouse layouts, storage systems, and operational processes while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Plan, assign, supervise, train, mentor, and develop warehouse personnel while encouraging accountability, teamwork, field knowledge, and a safe working culture
- Monitor warehouse KPIs, analyze operational performance, maintain system transaction accuracy, and prepare weekly/monthly reports to support management decision-making
- Lead customer order execution by coordinating with Customer Service Representatives to establish and communicate delivery commitments
