About the role
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (IC3) to help build, deploy, operate, and continuously improve Oracle Autonomous AI Database cloud services. In this role, you will own critical infrastructure and production operations, troubleshoot complex database and system issues, and implement automation to improve service reliability and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Production Reliability & Operations: Own implementation, maintenance, and operational support of critical database infrastructure and cloud platform services
- Performance & Capacity Management: Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, support capacity planning
- Platform Engineering & Deployment: Contribute to architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, release engineering
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with distributed engineering teams to prototype and enhance database platform services, investigate production issues
