About the role
We are seeking an Industrial Designer to shape the physical identity of our autonomous construction robots. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, aesthetics, and usability — translating complex hardware systems into beautifully functional, durable, and serviceable machines.
What you'll do
- Lead industrial design development for next-generation robotic systems, from early sketches to production-ready surfaces
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are both visually refined and mechanically feasible
- Develop modular enclosure systems and accessibility features (easy tool swaps, maintenance access, component protection)
- Design for durability, repairability, and manufacturability using practical materials and industrial processes
- Own the visual design language of 10x robots — proportions, textures, color palettes, finishes, and branding placement
