About the role
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician who can support mechanical assembly, fitment, basic design drafting, and has strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments. The role involves assembling mechanical parts, assisting in prototype builds, updating drawings, and ensuring proper fitment during robot/product development.
What you'll do
- Perform mechanical assembly and fitment of components, brackets, structures, and sub-systems
- Read and interpret 2D drawings, basic CAD models, and assembly instructions
- Assist in design drafting (2D/3D) for simple parts under supervision
- Use hand tools and power tools like grinders, drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, spanners, etc
- Support prototype build, testing, and rework activities
