About the role
The Stores Executive will run the stores at Origin's robot assembly plant in Bengaluru, ensuring every build starts with a complete kit and every part in stock is accounted for. The role owns the full material flow inside the plant, from the receipt of components, sub-assemblies, consumables and tooling, through quality inspection, binning and stock control, to kitting, issue to the assembly line and outbound dispatch.
What you'll do
- Receive inbound consignments against the purchase order, verify quantities and documents, route every receipt through the Quality Assurance team for inspection
- Segregate rejected and non-conforming material, issue rejection notes, and coordinate vendor returns and replacements with Procurement and Quality Assurance
- Organize the stores with a defined bin-location system, FIFO practice, ESD-safe storage for electronics, dedicated storage for lithium-ion batteries
- Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or higher through regular cycle counts and periodic physical verification, reconciling every variance
- Plan stock levels by part category in line with the production plan and supplier lead times
