About the role
As an Engineering Manager – Backend, you will be responsible for building and leading high-performing backend engineering teams while driving the design, architecture, and delivery of highly scalable systems. You will balance people leadership, technical excellence, and execution, ensuring timely delivery of reliable and high-quality products.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend engineers to deliver complex projects successfully
- Own end-to-end delivery including planning, execution, and release management
- Drive system design and architecture for scalable and resilient backend platforms
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality benchmarks
- Partner with Product and Program teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
