About the role
To lead and control end-to-end logistics operations with strong focus on cost optimization, freight management, billing accuracy, commercial governance, statutory compliance, and financial control of logistics spend across the network.
What you'll do
- Own logistics P&L including freight, warehousing, manpower, handling, and secondary distribution
- Monitor cost per unit / per kg / per shipment and drive YoY cost reduction
- Implement route optimization and load utilization improvements
- Negotiate freight contracts, rate cards, and annual agreements with transporters & 3PLs
- Identify cost leakages and implement corrective controls
