About the role
You'll join a small team remediating and extending a large, heavily customised Sales Cloud org for a commercial real-estate lender. The org models the full Lead → Account → Opportunity → Loan lifecycle across roughly 215 objects, 145 flows, 17 Apex triggers, 48 profiles and 17 managed packages, with outbound integrations to an external loan-origination system.
What you'll do
- Consolidate three coexisting automation layers (Apex triggers, workflow rules, record-triggered flows) into one predictable pattern per object
- Design and build a single, auditable lead-routing model (assignment rules, Flow or Omni-Channel) and reactivate or rewrite validation
- Migrate from profile-centric security to a permission-set / permission-set-group model, remove person-specific sharing rules
- Retire dead metadata — around 110 unused flows, 350 unused fields and duplicate package namespaces — with impact analysis and an observe-before-delete discipline
- Work within a Git-based sandbox → QA → staging → production pipeline with automated regression tests; no direct changes to production
