About the role
This position is responsible for managing and optimizing assembly line operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. The role requires hands-on involvement in lean manufacturing, process improvement, troubleshooting, line balancing, quality assurance, operator multiskilling, and coordination with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
What you'll do
- Supervise and manage daily production responsibilities for assigned assembly line(s) and shifts
- Ensure adherence to quality system procedures, delivery commitments, and production targets
- Analyse issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence
- Apply lean manufacturing tools and concepts to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
- Optimize assembly line setups to maximize throughput and maintain consistent product quality
