Senior Engineer (Backend), Automation Testing

About the role

Automation Testing builds how developers test and automate their APIs, from local runs and CI pipelines to scheduled and large-scale runs in the cloud. You'll work across Automation Testing, starting with performance testing: load-testing APIs at scale. As a senior engineer, you're the lead for your area, and you own the engineering and the product together.

What you'll do

• Own your area end to end: decide what to build and why with product, then design, build and ship it
• Work directly with customers, and turn their problems into product and technical decisions
• Own the architecture, reliability and performance of your area, and turn ambiguous goals into designs you deliver
• Make test runs fast, reliable and easy to debug, at multi million VU scale
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for quality on the team
