About the role
The role is to develop and maintain databases across multiple projects sharing a common business domain. Database development cycles include data modelling, physical schemas, database programming, ETL development, Data warehouse and BI development.
What you'll do
- Using data modelling techniques, design and deploy database schemas
- Development and maintenance of the database stored procedures, views and functions for hosted web applications or batch processing
- Development and maintenance of ETL platform/applications
- Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements. Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for database modifications
