About the role
The role will be part of the Subscriptions and Payments engineering team and will contribute to building Fire TV In-App Purchase (IAP) capabilities, subscription journeys, entitlement workflows and platform integrations. You will work on highly scalable consumer-facing systems where performance, reliability, low latency and seamless user experience are critical, particularly during high-traffic events such as live sports and major content releases.
What you'll do
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern web technologies
- Build frontend and backend capabilities supporting subscriptions, payments and entitlement management
- Develop responsive, performant user experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript and React or similar frameworks
- Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices for subscription and payment workflows
- Work on Fire TV IAP integration , including purchases, renewals, cancellations and entitlement synchronization
