About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Lab Assistant – Chemistry to support laboratory activities, maintain equipment, and ensure the smooth functioning of the chemistry lab.
What you'll do
- Maintain organized laboratory equipment, keep the inventory of chemicals well-stocked and calibrated, clean the laboratory instruments regularly
- Monitor and enforce proper usage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed in the lab
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory experiments, equipment usages and document any damaged or malfunctioning equipment for repairs or replacement
- Assist teachers and students during experiments by providing guidance and technical support and demonstrate proper usage of lab equipment when required
