SRM Architect

About the role

The SRM Architect owns the technical direction of QAD's SaaS products outside the core ERP: Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Enterprise Quality Management (EQMS), and Demand & Delivery. Development on these products is largely outsourced, so this person is the internal technical authority who sets direction and holds partners to it.

What you'll do

• Define the target architecture and a practical modernization roadmap for SRM, EQMS, and Demand & Delivery, with engineering and product leaders
• Make and document architecture decisions on application design, AWS deployment, multi-tenancy, integrations, data, security, and performance
• Set technical standards for outsourced engineering partners, review their designs and delivered work, and resolve technical risks before they reach customers
• Translate customer and commercial commitments into feasible designs, estimates, dependencies, and milestones, and see them through delivery
• Build the internal knowledge needed to sustain these products independently of any one partner
