About the role
Remove old mechanical or conventional meters and install new smart meters (electricity). Test equipment, check wiring/connections, and verify that communication modules (such as NIC/RF units) send data properly to utility providers and DISCOMs. Identify, diagnose, and report electrical or meter faults during or after installation.
