About the role
This position involves system-level design and engineering for semiconductor and advanced equipment. You will use design tools (such as 3D CAD) to develop equipment concepts and system designs, while also handling system integration, verification, and performance optimization. Your role entails designing equipment based on customer requirements and resolving technical issues that arise during the development process.
What you'll do
- Define system requirements and design equipment architecture based on customer needs and engineering standards
- Execute equipment concept and system-level designs, and manage system integration across mechanical, fluid delivery, and control domains
- Oversee the entire equipment development lifecycle, from concept and detailed design to prototyping, validation, and mass production
- Conduct engineering analyses (structural, thermal, fluid dynamics, tolerance, etc.) and perform verification to ensure equipment performance and reliability
- Resolve technical issues with systems and equipment through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
