What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a team of technical writers supporting refinery and petrochemical engineering projects
- Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, operating manuals, maintenance procedures, commissioning/startup manuals, shutdown/TAR documentation, training manuals
- Convert inputs from PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, control narratives, cause and effect matrices, specifications, and vendor documents into clear user-focused content
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, HSE, Operations, Maintenance, and Document Control teams for inputs, reviews, and approvals
- Drive documentation quality through templates, style guides, technical reviews, version control, comment resolution, and client submission readiness
