About the role
The Locomotive Maintenance Programs Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving locomotive maintenance workscopes, quality plans, and associated maintenance requirements supporting locomotive shop operations.
What you'll do
- Maintenance Work scopes & Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and revise standardized locomotive maintenance workscopes for scheduled and condition-based maintenance events
- Translate technical maintenance requirements into clear, executable shop workscopes
- Review existing workscopes and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, reliability, efficiency, and consistency
- Maintain locomotive component change-out schedules based on direction and feedback from Engineering and Senior Customer Service Manager
