About the role
Mechanical Design Engineer – Drivetrain Structural Cast & Forged Components at Quest Global. Core and detail design experience in casting components such as Gearbox housings, Transmission housings, Axle housings, Differential housings.
What you'll do
- Design, Develop and Maintain Axle / Transmission cast/forged components
- Must be expert in using Creo Parametric 3D Modelling for Structural Cast or Forged Components
- Perform necessary Engineering Calculations to design a component or support Engrg Deviations / Maintenance work using various tools not limited to FEA
- Functional Knowledge on Axle/Transmission Interfaces
- Works with SDEs/Buyers and Supplier to complete CPPD and TFC before finalising New Designs and/or Changes
