About the role
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Packaging Design Engineer with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in industrial packaging design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing corrugated/cardboard packaging solutions and wooden pallets/crates for industrial products.
What you'll do
- Wooden crates and export packaging
- Slickers & handling design
- Perform packaging design calculations and validation to ensure product protection during handling, transportation, and storage
- Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and manufacturing documents using Unigraphics (UG/NX)
- Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, suppliers, and quality teams for packaging development and implementation
